Arting and Crafting

I have had a bit of a flurry of crafting and arting over the last few weeks so thought I would share them as they are basic, and I think, look great.

O.k. so this one is old but I thought I would share it as I love it:

Doily on black card in a black frame

A while back I got the whole family to draw around their hands on a piece of Calico fabric, then it sat for the next (what feels like) 6 months on our dining room table.  I finally got sick of shifting it when visitors came so sat down and stitched it with wool.  I now just need to find a frame for it to go in.  This will be added to our 'LOVE' gallery wall.

And this just cracks me up!  I did one of these at Primary School, way back in 1990, and for some reason have often thought about it.  Then last night while browsing Pinterest I came across a coloured version of it.  So, being in a incredibly bored mood, I sat down with the boys pencils and did this (good project while hubby watches soccer!)

And an added bonus the boys think its fantastic and want to try one.  So tomorrows rainy day project is to sit and do one of these each - PERFECT!
Did anyone else do this a primary school?
What have you been up to - other than Christmas shopping, wrapping gifts, cooking food, decorating .......?

Jo I love the stripy tube pic. Never did one of these at primary school but it looks so much fun. Fancy putting a tutorial up to teach me?
