My Place & Yours

I have just signed up to my first blog group - My Place & Yours.  I haven't really got into the whole linking up with groups of bloggers as usually I don't spend enough time on here to warrant joining.

HOWEVER! this all changed when I saw that this weeks theme for My Place & Yours is all about your favourite tea cup.  Hmm I have oooooooooodles!!!!!

Inherited from my beautiful Gran.  I love the busy Scottish themed
pattern.

This little gem and the Bunnykins one in the above photo are
very precious to me.  They belonged to my grandmother when
she was a little girl.

This one also belonged to my beautiful Gran. I love its simple design.

I have never been into china - I'm a farmers daughter, coffee drinking, solid mug kinda girl.  BUT this all changed when sorting and selling off my grandfathers treasures when he moved into a retirement home.  I am in love with it now.  So much so that my new china cabinet is now overflowing!

I am feeling very jealous of all that beautiful China that is even more precious because it was your Gran's

Oh NO Jackie, that wasn't supposed to happen! :) Thanks though. It is very precious - so much so that I don't really want to use it.

Thanks so much for joining Jo. Something about running something like this brings all my insecurities crawling out of the woodwork. I've fixed the link thingy and it's working now. I put the wrong piece of code in. I hope you do join in again. I love all your beautiful china, so lovely!!

That are some lovely cups .. I don't have a bit of china, all very sturdy mugs that sometimes even survive a drop to the floor.

Love the Scottish themed one and the little Bunnykins one. And the pale green ones... they're all pretty! How lovely to have such special pieces from your Gran. x
